If you’re never one to turn down a freebie, you may be interested in some forthcoming PSHE and Citizenship resources from Bounty’s Upfront Education Unit. The company - perhaps best known for parenting education and the goody bags it hands out to new mums in hospital - is working with a panel of secondary teachers. Bounty is keen to emphasise that commercial spnsorship will be “relevant and responsible” and materials will be editorially independent. You can judge the validity of these statements when the first - People: a guide to families, friends and relationships - becomes available to schools in June. Resources will include workbooks, teachers’ packs, web pages and wallboards. Details: 01379 649500. SH
