An exhibition has been launched to celebrate the artwork of pupils in more than 20 London schools. The show at the Nunnery Gallery in east London emphasises the uses of creativity throughout the curriculum. Exhibits include an animation telling the story of “angle birds”, as well as a patterned Islamic light box and a large mirrored telescope. Pupils in schools throughout the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham and Camden worked with 23 artists to produce the works. The exhibition will run from May 7-19.
