Pupils bugged by rare spider

Pupils from Goring primary in Oxfordshire have caught one of Britain’s rarest spiders as part of a county-wide wildlife project. The school managed to catch a male purse-web spider in a sticky trap when taking part in the“Bug Quest 2” scheme. Oxford university zoologist Dr George McGavin, who leadsthe project, admitted he had never seen one of the spiders in the wild before.
