Whenever I print from Microsoft Word on my PC the text is always off to the right and there is empty space at the bottom even though I set the left and right margin settings to be the same. Why? - S Boase, Hitchin The most likely explanation is the paper size is set to 'Letter', an American size that is usually the default setting in word processors. To change it in Word go to the File menu, choose Page Setup and click on the Paper Size tab. Choose A4 from the Paper Size list and click on the Default button. You will be asked if you want to alter the default settings of the paper size. Click Yes - all new documents will now be created in A4 size.
