Qualifications and Curriculum Authority

* The decision by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority to keep coursework under controlled conditions this week has been welcomed by education unions. Dr John Dunford, general secretary of the Association of College Leaders, said: "Coursework tests much wider skills than a two-hour written exam."
