Random drug tests for pupils

Pupils at Abbey school in Faversham, Kent, will be subjected to random drug tests from September. Headteacher Peter Walker said the plan, believed to be the first in a UK state school, would see 20 pupils picked at random each week. It has the backing of Kent county council.
