I read with interest the lesson plan on pilgrimage in The TES Magazine (July 16). The content seemed fairly good, with some interesting opportunities for differentiation.
My real issue was that this lesson was wedged under the heading “PSHE”. As an RE specialist it seems that PSHE, along with the Disney claptrap known as citizenship, is eroding what is left of RE in schools today.
