Reading Phonological Awareness Training Levels 1,2 and 3; PAT - Learning to Read with Nursery Rhymes The PAT programme was developed by Jo Wilson, a Buckinghamshire educational psychologist, for children who are experiencing persistent difficulties with learning to read. For children aged seven and upwards, it works by developing their awareness of the sound in spoken words. Each book includes photocopiable worksheets and record forms, reading lists and sentences for dictations.
