The recent article on the poor terms of employment offered to contract researchers’ (“Excluded from the photocopy rota”, September 11) made their plight seem even worse than it is in one respect. We reported that 86 per cent of the researchers surveyed said that they had no contractual entitlement to an annual holiday when in fact only 14 per cent are in this position. Apologies to Dr Elaine Freedman and the British Educational Research Association.
