National Union of Teachers members refused to teach 76 disruptive children last year, union officials revealed. Delegates, who heard that members had called for 120 exclusions of pupils with behavoural problems, called for government targets for reducing exclusions to be dropped and for Office for Standards in Education inspectors to be barred from commenting on exclusion rates.
