Education Secretary Michael Gove has said he is “interested” by the idea of atheists setting up their own free schools. Speaking at a Commons education committee, Mr Gove said he would look at such proposals, after outspoken atheist, writer and broadcaster Professor Richard Dawkins said that he would consider opening up a “free-thinking free school”.
