Camden council, north London, is taking legal advice after the schools’

adjudicator blocked its attempt to reserve secondary places for pupils attending its primaries. It had argued the changes were necessary to build stronger links between schools and make transition easier. More than half of Camden ‘s10,000 secondary places are filled by pupils living elsewhere.
