Scotland on Sunday would like us to point out that last week’s leader “Bending the facts” contained two inaccuracies. The paper’s survey, showing that 63 additional teachers had left the profession in the four main cities last session, covered the period up to the end of June, not March as suggested. And it referred solely to resignations not routine retirements.
