(Photograph) - The ground-breaking work of the “Room 13” art space at Caol primary near Fort William continues to pay dividends. Yesterday (Thursday) the children were the only entrants out of 27 winners in the UK Artworks Young Artists of the Year prizes to pick up two awards - and pound;2,000.

This follows hard on the heels of the “junior Turner” prize which won Jodie Foster, aged 11, pound;20,000 for her matchstick portrayal of the World Trade Center attack. In May, the school received a pound;200,000 grant from the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts.
