ON FRIDAY, April 9, I called out a reputable local plumber as our bathroom cistern would not flush. The repair took 22 minutes and the bill came to pound;65.
On April 6, I did S4 Standard grade revision, on April 14 Higher grade modern studies revision (I have been doing that unpaid, for three hours each, for the last 10 years at Easter).
This year, I have been paid for the first time - at pound;16.99 per hour. I am not flush with this system.
