A nursery rhyme came to his rescue. David Miller had problems remembering which exam body he was chairing in a succession of events recently. Within a week he had attended an induction meeting for his new charges at the Scottish Qualifications Authority and presided over farewell dinners for the Scottish Vocational Education Council and the Scottish Examination Board.
