Minority pursuits can be particularly well supported by the internet, which is why, some time ago, the Government put up money to develop digital materials for Latin (taken up by the main course provider, Cambridge University Press, and its new media partner, Granada). There has been no CD-Rom (yet), but fruits of the investment can be seen at the website of the Cambridge School Classics Project. There are plenty of free support materials for the Cambridge Latin Course, including pages of Latin text that allow you to click on individual words to discover their meanings.
There is also a Myths and Storytelling project for primary schools, based on the Iliad.
