Scottish schools teams won 10 medals - four of them gold - at the British National Rowing Championships at Strathclyde Park.

George Heriot’s school in Edinburgh won gold in the women’s under-18 coxed fours and coxless fours and silver medals in the men’s under-18 coxed fours and women’s under-16 coxed fours.

George Watson’s College combined with Nithsdale amateur rowing club to win the women’s under-18 double sculls. The other gold medal went to Aberdeen schools in the coxless pairs.
