Rule change for non-EU teachers

Michael Gove, the Westminster education secretary, plans to relax regulations forcing teachers from outside the European Union to retrain to teach in England. Under the proposals, it will still be up to the school or local authority sponsoring the teacher to carry out any further background checks.
