Graeme Hyslop, principal of Langside College in Glasgow, was in fine form the other week as he pondered the future of FE without the EU, or at least its money.

“What worries me is that we will hit the wall running,” Hyslop began. “We don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water . . . we could end up not reinventing the wheel, but reinventing what came before the wheel.”

As they say in FE, we need transparency.
