A school where a pupil was attacked with a hammer is investigating new security measures.

Ridgeway school in Wroughton, Swindon, is considering building a new security fence, introducing CCTV and shortening the school day following the assault last week.

Henry Webster, 15, sustained fractures to the skull in the incident. A 17-year-old boy has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
