(Photograph) - Pupil Sam Jones plants a tree at Rossall school near Fleetwood, Lancashire, as it turns its 160-acre grounds into woodland. Native trees such as rowan, ash, oak, hawthorn, holly and sweet chestnut are being planted, leaving room for sports fields. The trees are sponsored through the Woodland Trust, a charity that sells carbon offset credits to guilt-ridden air travellers.
