Jacqui Ross is the ICT co-ordinator at Eversley primary school in Winchmore Hill, London. As part of her studies at the University of Hertfordshire, she is trying to find out how useful access to the Internet has been in helping fellow teachers plan lessons.

Are the promises of the National Grid for Learning coming to fruition yet? What are the experiences of non-technically-minded classroom teachers? Her colleagues at Eversley are only just getting connected and she will be monitoring their initiation. She is also keen to hear about others’ experience and has designed an on-line survey form for quick and easy responses.

I hope that lots of teachers will take part - especially if it’s their first experience on the Internet. The address for the on-line form is http:www.laken.demon.co.ukjacsurvsurvey1.htm Readers can e-mail suggestions on future Internet Insights topics to Sam Saunders at J.P.Saunders@leeds.ac.uk
