Saturday morning school

(Photograph) - A Saturday morning school is helping Korean primary school children and their mothers improve their English.

The Belfast school, known as Methody, opened at Methodist College in September and has now been officially launched. It currently serves 17 children and numbers are expected to top 30 by March with the start of Korea's new school year. The school is staffed by three qualified Korean teachers, all wives of executives and key workers in Korean companies in and around Belfast. Six Korean companies have started up in Ulster since 1989, investing Pounds 95 million and promising to create up to 2,400 jobs.
