Can’t decide what to do this summer? Then why not try to help save wildlife in Madagascar?

Earthwatch Institute (Europe), the international environmental charity, is looking for volunteers to work alongside field scientists and researchers.

You’ll be tracking lemurs to record their habits and hiking through forests searching for fossa, animals closely related to the mongoose. You’ll also be working on Earthwatch’s long-term education programme to discourage lemur hunting.

Expeditions last from 15 to 16 days, and cost from pound;1,350. You’ll be camping under the stars at the forest’s edge, with the occasional lemur for company - is that 5-star or what?

Contact Earthwatch’s expedition recruitment line on 01865 318 831 or visit www.earthwatch.org
