The irony of trees being chopped down so that books on saving forests can be published hasn't gone unnoticed. Rainforest Concern has moved its excellent education programme online. The site is interactive. Children aged 7-12 can try to identify the sounds of monkeys, jaguars, ants and frogs, catch a scurrying beetle who tells them new facts, and move from page to informative page about flora, fauna and indigenous peoples. They'll also see a brief but powerful film whose message - "Now you see it, Now you don't" - is all too chillingly plausible.
