The Think Energy website from British Gas has material on the risks of wasting energy and tackling issues related to global warming.

There are six sections - for pupils aged 7-11, 11-14, 14-16 and 16-18, and for teachers and parents. Online activities include word searches, questionnaires, games, quizzes and exercises about saving energy and the implications of energy waste. For key stage 4 there are downloadable newsletters with case studies, and a glossary of useful terms. A-level students can benefit from tips for essay planning, revision and exams, and the parent pages give advice on how to save energy in the home. Teachers can register to access pages with lesson plans, activity ideas and teacher’s notes for all age groups, and a list of links to other useful websites.
