Pupils write to Theresa May: 'Make sports and the arts more prominent in education'
Theresa May's inbox is bulging at the moment, but this didn't stop pupils from her former school, Wheatley Park School in Oxfordshire, writing to her to outline what her priorities should be.
From rebuilding their school to make it "newer and fancy" to putting a stop to racism and prejudice, their demands are many and varied.
One calls for Mrs May to "make sports and the arts more prominent in the education system" while another wants her to tackle the divide between rich and poor – the focus of her first speech as prime minister yesterday afternoon.
Another asks for the right to an outstanding education "to continue through the process of leaving the EU". Pupils also ask that they can be more involved in the political decisions that affect them.
