School reforms Bill looms

A series of schools reforms is to be pushed through before the next election. A Bill, to be announced in the Queen's speech, will include many of the proposals announced in the Government's five-year education plan.

These include allowing all secondaries to gain foundation status and more short-notice inspections by the Office for Standards in Education.
