Schools in campaign’s firing line;Grammar schools

The grammar schools which are under the most immediate threat are Ripon and those in Barnet, Sutton, Kent and Trafford, where parents have already started the formal process towards a ballot.

The “Say No to Selection” campaign has registered with the Electoral Reform Society in each of these areas, where 49 schools are targeted. Campaigners in Trafford and Sutton became the latest to register last week.
