One of the delights to cheer up a dreary November is the Schools Prom, a celebration of the achievements and talent of Britain’s best young musicians, singers and dancers, organised by Music for Youth. Around 3,000 young people aged between six and 21 will perform a wide variety of music in London’s Royal Albert Hall. The evenings, November 4, 5 and 6, will be presented by Diane Louise Jordan and Richard Stilgoe.
