Two Scots are among 12 UK winners of an award for teachers judged to have done outstanding work with their pupils in science and technology. Joyce Currie teaches at Kirkshaws primary in Coatbridge and Roderick Duthie is principal teacher of technological studies at Linksfield Academy in Aberdeen.
