The eager beavers behind the Government’s “Science Year” announced last week that they would be extending their campaign on behalf of all things rational and logical into 2003.

Lovers of life’s little ironies may be amused to know that the campaign’s central London headquarters has been plonked directly above Wippell’s, purveyors of the finest cassocks and dog-collars to the clerical community for 200 years. Should make for some interesting neighbourly discussions about life, the universe and everything!
