Chemistry_teacher is a content partner on TES Resources who has shared more than 100 innovative chemistry resources for secondary teaching, which have generated nearly 250,000 views so far.
What are the resources like? The most popular resource is a PowerPoint called Element, Compound or Mixture, which asks students to classify the substances labelled in a picture into one of these three areas. One user says: “Nice starter or plenary that puts it all in context. Thanks!” Try this with your pupils at the start of a lesson to gauge their knowledge in this area and find out what they might be struggling with. Another resource called The Reactivity Series Worksheets asks students to write down what happens when metals react with acid, water and oxygen. Natashafox85 says: “Great slide showing displacement reactions - thanks.”
