Actor, storyteller and writer Andy Cannon (Wee Stories Theatre) and Wendy Weatherby, Scottish cellist, composer and folk musician, join forces this month for Oor Rabbie - a riotous celebration of Scotland’s favourite poet in Edinburgh.

Oor Rabbie is an interactive and engaging storytelling theatre performance and a lively, inventive way to discover the life, times and poetry of Robert Burns. The show, written by Andy with live music from Wendy, gives a taster of Burns’s well-known poems, including Tam O’Shanter, Tae a Mouse, Tae a Louse and Address to a Haggis. Andy says: “Oor Rabbie comes from a genuine respect for Burns, whose poetry is still known today, simply because it’s so good.”

Performances take place tonight, tomorrow and next weekend at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, High Street, Edinburgh. T: 0131 556 9579.
