Calling all primary teachers: the National Library of Scotland wants your attention.

Linking with its current exhibition, 500 Years of the Scottish Printed Word, it is laying on an event on September 4 in Edinburgh entitled “Sangs, Rhymes and Poems: Oor Bairns and Bilingualism”. Matthew Fitt, co- founder of Itchy Coo Books and director of Scots Educational Resources, will lead a session on language and literature in the primary classroom.
