To help groups make the most of their visit, five Scottish youth hostels are providing education packs linked to 5-14 environmental studies. They are: Melrose, in Border country; Rowardenan, Loch Lomond; Ayr on the west coast; Kyleakin, Isle of Skye; and Loch MorlichAviemore in the Cairngorms. Worksheets include: minibeast safaris, people in the past, the weather, changes in transport, and discovering local wildlife. The packs are supported by Scottish Natural Heritage.
