The Government’s tough stance on behaviour is being undermined by parents, a survey of teachers has found. Half of the 173 staff surveyed by the Teacher Support Network said the policies are not effectively enforced, and 62 per cent said that parents do not support them. Nearly one in eight said they had been verbally abused or insulted by parents.
