A SCHEME that allows youngsters to try their hand at everything from break-dancing and cartoon-drawing to circus arts and yoga has been awarded pound;73,000 in government cash. Around 280 Year 5 to 7 pupils from 25 Brighton and Hove schools will be invited to attend a one-week summerschool under the city’s newly-formed Children’s University. Peter Eastick, the project’s director, said: “While mainstream lessons are geared towards those who excel academically, these sessions should help other pupils to discover talents they didn’t know they had.”
