Secular Society in prejudice battle

The National Secular Society has lodged an official complaint with the Equality and Human Rights Commission over fears that teachers could face religious discrimination under new legislation. The society says the Education Bill will remove protection from teachers in voluntary controlled faith schools that switch to academy status. The Government denies the claim.
