Westminster Kingsway, Newcastle, Leeds Thomas Danby and University College Birmingham are the first four colleges endorsed by the National Skills Academy for Hospitality for the excellence of their chef qualifications. They will be able to offer the benchmark for excellence in hospitality training at levels 1, 2 and 3. David McHattie, chief executive of the academy, said: “These four colleges not only serve employers with skilled chefs, they also provide students with the very best foundations for a long and successful career.”
