Schools are being encouraged to book soon for the SETT 2002 show in Glasgow on September 25-26, which is organised by Learning and Teaching Scotland, the Scottish Executive and National Grid for Learning Scotland. Anyone registering before the end of June could win a digital camera in a raffle. They will also have their pick of seminars before they are booked up.

More than 80 seminars are planned, covering early years, primary, secondary, further education, inclusive learning, headteachers and policy makers. Website launches will include Heads Together, for headteachers and NQ Online, for information on national qualifications. The Scottish Executive and local authorities will launch Master Class, an initiative establishing 600 key people - advisers, heads and teachers - to be responsible for cascading information about information and communications technology within their authorities according to local needs.

The exhibition, run by Emap Education, will include about 100 companies with the latest computer technology on display. The British Educational Suppliers Association is providing funding for transport to encourage schools far from Glasgow to attend the whole event, sponsored by TES Scotland, at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
