Schools need to recruit a new headteacher once every seven years, according to research by the National College for School Leadership.
A two-year study, the first of its kind, has been launched by the college to help governing bodies to appoint the right leader for their own school.
Any school which has recently appointed a new headteacher, or is in the process of doing so, and which would like to share its experiences of the recruitment process, is asked to email donna_gent@haygroup.co Headhunting 28
