Sex education programme launched this week

* A sex education programme aimed at cutting Britain's teenage pregnancy rate was launched this week, as figures showed that the number of pregnant girls under 16 had rose by 11 per cent last year.

Understanding Contraception, from Brook Advisory Centres, is aimed at 14 year old girls.
