Last week’s Scottish Association of Geography Teachers’ annual bash was held in Dundee, and the organising committee pulled out all the stops to make it a memorable occasion, with a reception, supper and guided tour aboard “RRS Discovery”.

This left SAGT vice-president Malcolm McDonald looking impressed, if slightly worried. “I’m on the organising committee for next year’s conference in Edinburgh and I’m wondering how we can top this.”
