If Jeremy Claydon really believes it is only the length of his hair which is preventing him being successful at interview (“Why we should celebrate diversity”, The TES Magazine, January 2), perhaps he should have it trimmed: it will grow back.

If he is still unsuccessful, he may want to consider if his conceit is getting in the way.
