Atomic Learning contains web-based tutorials for PC and Mac-users wanting to learn how to use various software packages. The resource, aimed at anyone wanting to improve their ICT skills, has some 12,000 tutorials covering more than 75 software applications produced by Adobe, Apple, Macromedia, Microsoft and Sun Microsystems. The tutorials are QuickTime video clips explaining how to carry out each task with step-by-step instructions. Under the Curriculum Tools heading are pdf lesson plans and a list of the tutorials most useful in the classroom. The site boasts an additional 300 tutorials every 45 days and full access is available for pound;50 per year for an individual. Schools and groups can request a discount based on the number of users and eLearning Credits can be used to pay for subscriptions.
