Sinister side of workload deal

We call upon the national teacher associations who signed the workload agreement in good faith to withdraw support for it.

The TES front-page article "Schools without teachers" has highlighted the sinister side of the agreement: it will force schools to employ non-qualified teachers. Again it is the most vulnerable pupils who will be affected most, perpetuating the gulf between the privileged and those on the bottom rung of the education ladder.
