Sixth form colleges outperform schools

Sixth form colleges perform better than school sixth forms despite receiving less funding per student, according to a report from the National Audit Office. Although increased investment in 16-18 education has led to attainment improvements, different financial arrangements made it difficult to judge if value for money was being delivered, the NAO added.
