Despite still feeling sea-sick, Tim got the job: teaching on a photo-journalism course accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
Scott Armstrong, the college's head of media, was impressed by Tim's determination to get the job.
Mr Armstrong said: "It was one of the most unusual interviews I had conducted but, give him his due, he was very good indeed. He did say he was sitting there in a suit and tie, but I'm not convinced."
